Avery Martinez is from Elizabeth, Colorado where she lives with her family, horses, goats, dogs and barn cat! She is a Daniels Scholar and a senior at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where she is studying Forensic Science with a minor in Spanish. Avery lived in New Zealand for almost 7 years and loves traveling, practicing her Spanish skills and running. She is passionate about public policy and informing her community about the economic impacts those policies may have.
