Stepan is a Research Analyst at the Common Sense Institute. Prior to joining CSI, he worked in health economics and policy, where he gained experience navigating the sometimes frustrating intersection of economics and politics. He holds an M.S. in Economics from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree from UC Davis. Outside of work, Stepan enjoys biking, playing chess, and sipping a nice cup of tea on a cold day.
