2023 Visionary for the Future Award Winner

 

 

John Suthers, born in Denver and raised in Colorado Springs, has had a distinguished career in law and public service. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Colorado Law School, Suthers began as a Deputy District Attorney and later served as District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District. He was appointed U.S. Attorney for Colorado by President George W. Bush and later served as Colorado's Attorney General from 2005 to 2014. Suthers was elected Mayor of Colorado Springs in 2015, where he led transformative growth for the city.
