Fort Collins Mayor Jeni ARNDT

2024 Visionary for the Future Award Winner

 

 

Jeni Arndt, Mayor of Fort Collins, has called the city home since infancy. A graduate of Poudre High School, she earned degrees in Sociology (Colorado College), Geography (University of Colorado), and Special Education (Purdue University), along with a Ph.D. in Literacy and Language. Her diverse career spans roles as a Peace Corps volunteer, special education teacher, middle school principal, and university faculty member. Elected as Mayor in 2021, Jeni previously served three terms as a State Representative, focusing on water, agriculture, small business, and education. She and her husband, Channing, have three adult children.
