Mike Coffman is the Mayor of Aurora, first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023. A lifelong Aurora resident, he attended Aurora Public Schools and graduated from the University of Colorado. He is a combat veteran with service in both the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, and ran a small business in Aurora for 17 years. Coffman has held various public offices, including Colorado State Treasurer, Secretary of State, and U.S. Representative. He also completed the Senior Executive Program at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
