Join Common Sense Institute on October 13th for our annual Free Enterprise Summit—an engaging day of bold ideas, meaningful conversations, and fresh perspectives on the issues shaping Colorado’s future. Connect with business, policy, and community leaders as we explore the challenges and opportunities ahead and celebrate the power of free enterprise. This year’s featured speaker is Bryan Leach, Founder and CEO of Ibotta.
Bryan Leach is the founder and CEO of Denver-based Ibotta (NYSE: IBTA). His appearance comes at a pivotal moment for Colorado. Technology and advanced industries helped drive the state’s extraordinary economic expansion during the 2010s. Sustaining that prosperity requires Colorado think carefully about the policies needed to attract, cultivate, and retain innovative companies, entrepreneurs, investment, and talent.
Ibotta is a leading performance-marketing platform that enables consumer packaged-goods brands to deliver digital promotions to more than 200 million consumers through the Ibotta Performance Network. Under Bryan’s leadership, the company pioneered a pay-per-sale model through which marketers pay only when their campaigns lead directly to purchases, allowing brands to gain market share cost-effectively.
Bryan founded Ibotta in 2012 and took the company public in 2024 in the largest technology IPO in Colorado history. His experience gives him a valuable perspective on what the state must do to stay a place where innovative businesses thrive.
Bryan is a frequent commentator on loyalty and rewards, digital media, and the role of artificial intelligence in pricing and promotions. Glassdoor has recognized him as one of the nation’s top 10 CEOs among small and medium-sized businesses. He has also been named CEO of the Year by ColoradoBiz magazine and EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Mountain Desert Region.
